Over half a century of bar-turning experience in the Arve Valley.

Bar turning: Bar turning is a technique from the clockmaking industry. It consists of fabricating mainly metallic parts by turning them from bars (or crowns or blanks) with perforations, threads, tapping, and various other types of machining. At the heart of the industrial area known as Technic Vallée near Mont Blanc, the town of Cluses is the world capital of this industrial activity. The Arve Valley in Haute Savoie is currently home to nearly two-thirds of those who work in the bar-turning industry, which makes it the world’s largest centre of this activity.
